“Eyes, Stars Spiders, Trees, Girls, the Birds and the Bees, Music, and stuff that make my head explode!” or “Awesome … cuz He is!”
Eyes are weird! … do you know that there are 30 parts to eyes? Amazingly complicated things … how could they have “evolved”? The more you study eyes … the more interesting it gets … eyes - blow my mind!
Space and the stars… a spider in the Amazon has more impact on my life compared with the billions of stars, billions of miles away- that I will never see! Trees – old trees that will outlast me - and their natural beauty… incredible! Natural Beauty … talking of which … another thing that blows my mind is … Girls! Humans in general are fascinating, but girls are just … weird! Same creatures technically, but they think like crazy and make us guys crazy!
Birds and the Bees. When God created the earth, he set life in motion and created a way for it to continue… seriously; who of us would think that sex would have been the best way?!
Music … while I enjoy it, and it makes my head explode, I can’t get my head around it. While man makes music, it was God that put the physics in place that make it possible. There are many, many more things that are just beyond our minds.
But – the biggest and most awe-inspiring, mind crushing, thing to me is God and His Son, Jesus! Think of the most amazing view… I have one from the road above my house… it takes my breath away. Don’t you just love that emotion of being utterly amazed by something? God created everything, He heals, saves etc … does that make Him Awesome? NO – GOD IS AWESOME, BECAUSE HE IS!
God created because He is Awesome, that’s why God is still amazing and awesome even when life sucks.

He’s Incredible when life is good. He is awe inspiring, when life is nothing. I want to live in His awesomeness; whether I feel it or not, I will praise Him whether I feel like it or not – because HE IS AWESOME. We need to learn to praise Him – whatever – because He is!
God is bigger than our experience, our circumstance… our life … He is Awesome, He is mighty to save. We need to live life like He is.
I want to spend my life living for a cause bigger than me. We can believe God often when we are desperate… believe Him anyway.
